Rough and Tough T-Bone is the third book in Annie Streit's series of rhyming children's picture books, following Scooter and His Scoot Scoot and A Dog Named Bird. All of her books focus around the ideas of acceptance, empathy, and overcoming obstacles that almost all children experience while growing up. About the Author Annie Streit does most of her writing at her family's lake house in Angola, Indiana, but she also spends time at her home in Noblesville. She graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Social Studies Education and loves working with children of all ages, animals, and writing. Many of her stories stem from her own experiences of navigating through life in a wheelchair after a diving accident in May of 2005. Along with writing, Annie loves speaking to various groups about her life experiences involving her accident and the many challenges she faces, being an advocate for those with disabilities, traveling in her adapted RV, and spending time with friends and family at the lake.
